Purpose

This community is for posting reviews of Fediverse apps and other tools ONLY.

Posts should have topics of the form: “[TYPE]: [NAME] v[version] for [platform(s)]”

E.g “App: FooBar Mastodon Client v1.0 for Android”

Discussion is allowed on the posts, top-level posts that are not reviews will be moderated with one exception:

Requests for Reviews

You’re allowed to post requests for reviews. Such requests will be left in place until a review has been posted, and then removed. If you’re posting a review in response to a request, post it as a top-level post and leave a link as a reply to the request.

Multiple / Repeat reviews

Multiple reviews for the same software is allowed, but consider if your take is sufficiently different and/or for a sufficiently updated version to justify a top-level post, or if you can make your point as a reply to an existing review.
